Rejection
“hey, woahh its been like forever.”
“yeah.”
“so whats new, up to any good?”
“sure, you could say that i guess.”
“i’ve missed hanging out with you, lets do it again sometime.”
“well things are different now… you know?”
“i guess, but we can get over the past”
“no, we can’t.”

i’ve encountered rejection.
i’ve seen rejection when i didn’t want to.
i’ve given rejection when i didn’t know what else to do.
i’ve received rejection when i didn’t know it was coming.
i’ve heard rejection in the saddest of forms.
i’ve seen reactions of crying and reactions of nothing.
it’s to those who effect you much and to those who effect you little.
